Red Lotus' founder, Remmawii aka Karuna Kristjanson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified Master Addiction Counselor. Her holistic approach integrates extensive clinical training with eastern spiritual practices.  Karuna practices yoga and meditation for the last 20 years and utilizes body-based therapy such as reiki and energy body work in her private practice. 

Remmawii's professional background includes being the Program Director at Mary Hall Freedom House and a psychotherapist at Northside Mental Health Center.  Remmawii now devotes her time to teaching and healing others in their journey towards wholeness.


Clifford Ehmke, MD is from Upstate New York and went to medical school in Syracuse.  He received specialty training in adult psychiatry at Emory University and graduated from the Emory Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program. Cliff specializes in both psychotherapy and medication management. He has an interest in integrating eastern and western approaches in the treatment of depression and anxiety. Cliff has an adventurous spirit and a soft heart and enjoys traveling in his spare time.  He has a cat named Spike. 


Dr. Waltrina DeFrantz-Dufor has a Doctorate in Higher Education from Indiana State University.  Dr. Dufor has extensive background in the fields of education and admin-istration.  She has taught courses in leadership, group dynamics, cultural diversity, wellness and stress management.  She provides individual and group therapy.

Dr. Dufor enjoys mentoring other women and she exemplifies a towering role model. In her spare time, she loves to read, write, practice yoga and takes Salsa dance lessons.  


Zopari Kristjanson is the Red Lotus Business Consultant. She works for the Atlanta Pediatric Therapy full time and she is instrumental in launching this small company to be a successful business enterprise. Atlanta Pediatric Therapy has been listed in the Inc. as one of the 500 fastest growing company in the States for the last two years.

Zopari is a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans. Her dedication and creativity are her gifts. Her other interests are performing music, painting and gourmet cooking.  She has an Akita dog named Pola and a Siamese cat named Leonard.
